'Forgotten Pier' This was shot at Point Nepean National Park in Victoria. The National Park features relics Aboriginal settlements and past military fortifications. A quarantine station was built there in 1852 to protect Victoria against disease from people arriving by boat. In 1882, a fort with barracks was established to defend the headlands of Port Phillip Bay against invasion. - 54x36 Canvas stretched and signed print. On Sunday we had our first stall at the Burleigh Art and Craft Market, we had a successful day and look forward to the Broadbeach Market which should be great with 60,000 people flocking to the GC for the Gold Coast Marathon.

Matt Robertson is a talented surf-photographer born in Melbourne on the 27th January 1983.
Growing up on Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula, Matt developed his passion for the ocean and its wonderful scenery.
Spending many hot summers and cold winters on the beach surfing and bodyboarding, Matt decided to start capturing his adventures by camera.
So now out of the water Matt gets a buzz from photographing professional and local board riders and capturing the wonderful scenery Australia has to offer.
Now based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Matt can regularly be found taking snaps of local surf hotspots. With work published in tRACKS, Surfing Life, Eppic Surf, Contrast Online Magazine and regular images and editorials featured on Swellnet website and more... he is an inspiring young photographer.
Matt has a creative vision and flare far beyond his years.
